Obituary for Robert Lee Nokes Print Mr. Robert Lee Nokes , age 80 of Quebeck, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. Born Thursday, December 22, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Carroll Nokes and the late Bertha Woodard Nokes . Mr. Nokes, better known as “Elvis”, grew up in Nashville and moved to White County 43 years ago.

He retired from Robert Orr / Sisco after 35 years of service. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Surviving family members include: wife – Donna Maggard Nokes of Sparta son – Mike Nokes of Quebeck four grandchildren – Amanda, Brittany, Christen and Cody sister – Wanda of Nashville brother – Richie of Nashville Eight great grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held for Mr. Nokes at 3pm on Friday, February 22, 2019, in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home with James Dukes officiating. A period of visitation with the family will be held Friday, prior to the service, from 2 until 3pm at the funeral home.
