Robert Lefebvre of Barnegat, NJ passed away September 21, 2018 at Bartley Care Center. He was 82 years old. Born on Aug 3, 1936 in Glens Falls Hospital, NY, Robert grew up in Gansevoort, NY one of eight children.

He went to South River High School then served in the United States Army Reserves. After marrying his childhood sweetheart Kathleen in 1958, he eventually made his way to East Brunswick NJ where he raised his family and worked for then eventually owned the family business Bluebird Caterers After retiring in 1994, he then moved to Waretown, NJ with his partner Margaret Kellermann. He loved fishing at his home in Barnegat, vacations to up state NY and trips to Atlantic City.

Predeceased by his parents Albert and Laurencia his loving wife Kathleen and siblings Maurice, Paul, Romeo, and Grace, Robert is survived by his loving children Jeanne, Bobby, and Jimmy, daughter in law Pat, grandchildren Michael, Kathleen, and Brian; partner Peg; and siblings Adrian, Bea, and Jane. Family and friends will be received Tuesday 6-9pm at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. The funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday 10am at the funeral home followed by entombment at Franklin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asked for donations to The Alzheimer’s Association.
