OBITUARY Robert Lewis Sutherin May 12, 1924 – October 10, 2018 Robert Lewis Sutherin, 94, of Traverse City, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Traverse City, Michigan. He was a decorated Veteran of World War II and was very proud of his service. Robert was married to Jean Ross Sutherin, his high school sweetheart and wife for 56 years, who preceded him in death.

From that joyful union was born one daughter, Donna Featherstone and one son, Derek (Laura) Sutherin. His children blessed him with three grandsons and two granddaughters; Tradd Featherstone, Taryn (Kurt) Rosenberger, Ian Featherstone, Ross Sutherin and Natalie Sutherin, and three great-grandchildren; Liam, Soren and Finley Rosenberger. The family wishes to thank the loving staff of The Villa at Traverse Point along with Hospice of Michigan for their knowledge and support of Robert and family during his final months.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City.
