Obituary for Robert Perry “Bob” Sims Robert P. “Bob” Sims, a resident of Sulphur was born March 23, 1937 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Curtis A. and Jessie Lucille ( Goodwin) Sims. He passed away Friday April 13, 2018 at Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years and 20 days. Bob grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma; graduating from Duncan High School.

He later obtained his masters degree in metalology. Bob and Frankie Gentry were married on July 22, 1966 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Bob worked for Haliburton Company as a trucker & welder.

They moved to the Sulphur area in 1978 when Bob worked as plant manager for the Haliburton Plant in Davis. He was preceded in death by Parents; son: Ky Sims; sister: Darlene Henricks. Survived by his Wife: Frankie Sims, Sulphur, OK Daughter & son-in-law: Jessica & Stuart Parks, Sulphur, OK Son & daughter-in-law: Robert Kip & Angie Sims, Tennessee Sister:, Arlene Sims, Duncan, OK grandchildren: Jacob Parks, Zane Parks, Lindsey & Meghan Sims, and Natalie Sims, 2 great-grandchildren, Wyatt & Whitney Sims Graveside services will be held Tuesday April 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Velma Cemetery, officiated by Rev.
