Robert W. Anderson, 82, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his home. He was born June 23, 1936 in Evansville to the late Alvena (Kopp) and Raymond Anderson. Bob served in the US Army Reserves and worked at Kent Plastics.

He was a charter member of Living Hope Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed spending time in his garage wood working. He also liked to attend Reitz High School football games and enjoyed Clabber.

He was an avid Evansville Otters fan and a member of their fan club. Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jackie (Coulter) Anderson; daughters, Kathy Heisler (Don) of Newburgh, Kelly Garrett (Tim) of Evansville, and Kim Beckner (Clay) of Chrisney; grandchildren, Aaron Heisler, Joshua Heisler (Heather), Abby Collins (Stephen), Whitney Farmer (Curt), Josiah Garrett (Janea), Mackenzie Garrett, Kristina Knight, Kandi Coy (Martin), Kyle Beckner, and Krystal Beckner; 18 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Charles Anderson; and sisters, Betty Kitzinger, Dorothy Stephens, and Delores West.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, February 25, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave. , Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the funeral home with Reverend Tim Garrett officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Living Hope Baptist Church, 200 Mill Rd. , Evansville, IN 47711.
