Obituary for Robert W. ‘Bob’ Patton Robert W. ‘Bob’ Patton Funeral services for Robert W. Bob Patton of El Reno will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 28, 2018 in the Wesley United Methodist Church. Rev. Allen Carson, pastor will officiate.

Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Bob passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born on September 11, 1926 in Eads Colorado. Mr. Patton graduated from High School and the School of Banking in Madison Wisconsin. Robert Wayne Patton married Madelyn Shepherd on May 20, 1962 in Clinton, OK.

He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He had worked as a bank examiner out of the Kansas City District Office. Mr. Patton worked in banks in Eads, Colorado, Oklahoma City, OK.

Tucson, AZ, and El Reno, OK. He worked in the banking industry for over 65 years. Bob was a longtime member of the Wesley United Methodist Church where he was very active in the Wesley United Methodist Men, taught Sunday school, and had served on numerous committees.

Mr. Patton had served as a former Mayor of the City of El Reno. He was a former member of the El Reno Airport Authority. Mr. Patton was preceded in death by his parents: Auster Henry & Gladys Marguerite (Deinlein) Patton and a Sister: Betty Holthus.

Survivors include: His wife Madelyn (Shepherd) Patton of the home. Son: Bobby Patton of Sugar Land, TX. 2- Daughters: Patty Martin of Grand Island, NE.

Jenny Dau & husband Dwight of Minden, IA. Sister: Margaret Frazee of Eads, CO. 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many dear friends.
