Obituary for Karon Kaye Winlker Karon Kaye Winkler Memorial services for Karon K. Winkler of Oklahoma City, OK. will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Father Ray Ackerman will officiate.

Mrs. Winkler passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 in OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City with her family by her side. She was born on October 26, 1950 in Calumet, OK. She was a Graduate of Calumet High School and had attended Redlands Jr. College in El Reno, OK.

Karon Kaye McCann married Steve Winkler on October 23, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She had worked for Hertz for 43 years in several different capacities before retiring as a Fraud Investigator. She was a member of the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.

She was known by many as Queso or Mama Winks. She loved cooking, especially homemade chocolate chip cookies, but what she loved most of all she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid OU sports fan and had grown to love the OKC Thunder basketball as well.

Everyone was always welcome in her home and she had the gift to make you feel very special. She was preceded in death by her parents: H.C. & Leatha (Bozarth) McCann, and a Sister Sharon McCann. Survivors include Her Husband Steve Winkler of the Home.

2 – Sons: Chris Roulet & wife Kendra of Sand Springs, OK. Jake Winkler & wife Stacy of Edmond, OK. Daughter: Rachael Wurzer & husband Andy of Edmond, OK.

Brother: Bill McCann & wife Susie of Geary, OK. 5 – Grandchildren: Karlie Roulet, Caityn Roulet, Conner Roulet, Caroline Winkler, Emily Winkler, She thought of her Brother & Sister-in-laws as more of her own brothers and sisters, She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and many dear friends. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 6525 N. Meridian Suite 110 Oklahoma City, OK.
