Wingard – Robert, 89, Richland, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2019 at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born on September 24, 1929 in Davidsville, son of the late Robert and Mary (Blough) Wingard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers-in-law, George Lazur and Jack Gindlesperger.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joanne (Fisher) Wingard; sisters, Catherine Lazur, Stoystown and Betty Gindlesperger, Windber and several nieces and nephews. Robert was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver.

Robert enjoyed traveling around the U.S. with his wife, Joanne and antiquing. He and Joanne loved spending time together. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Pastor Gary Anderson officiating.

Private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 600 Waterfront Dr #210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 in memory of Robert. Online condolences may be posted to www.
