Obituary for Roberta S. “Bobbie” (Henricks) Hinderliter GREENFIELD – Roberta S. “Bobbie” (Henricks) Hinderliter, age 73, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on February 19, 1945 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Herman and Alice (VanSickle) Henricks. Bobbie graduated from Warren Central High School in 1963.

She married Myron Hinderliter on August 29, 1965 in Indianapolis. She was a secretary at Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #20 in Indianapolis for many years before retiring. She was a member of Brandywine Community Church and volunteered as a secretary at the church and made prayer blankets for those in need.

She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Bobbie is survived by her children, Carrie Hinderliter of Greenfield and Chad (Mariah) Hinderliter of Shelbyville; three grandchildren, Lucas, Morgan, and Madisen; sister, Carolyn (Jim) Helgason of Greenfield; nephew, Jeff Helgason; niece, Jill Broome; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Alice Henricks; and husband, Myron Hinderliter.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Wright will be officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
