Obituary of Robert Taylor Obituary information for Major Robert B. Taylor, Ret. USAF Major Robert B. Taylor, Ret. USAF 93, of Boyertown, PA, beloved husband of Ann (Miller) Olson Taylor, peacefully passed away in his home April 30, 2018.

Born in Allentown, PA on February 17, 1925 he was the son of the late John R. and Olga (Hess) Taylor. In 1943, during an algebra class at William Allen High School, Bob received his call to military service two days after he turned 18. He proudly served his country through World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam as a decorated Air Force pilot and the CIA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Lynn Langer, Debra (Jim) Hagar and Vicki (David) Hammes. Two stepsons Scott (Vona) Olson and Christopher (Christine) Olson, his brother the Rev. John R. Taylor.

Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother David Taylor. A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011.

Pastor Jane Kropa will officiate. Friends may call from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the church. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Huff’s Union Church or Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074. Arrangements are being coordinated by the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc. of Pottstown, PA.
