Obituary of Robert Romano Robert George Romano, age 90 of Trumbull, beloved husband to the late Carmelina Virginia Mastriano, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Ludlowe Health and Rehab with his family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on October 25, 1928, he was a son of the late George and Fannie DaDonna Romano. Prior to retirement, Robert worked as a life insurance salesman with John Hancock for many years.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him. Robert is survived by his two loving children, George Romano and his wife Lisa of Trumbull and Nancy Mullins and her husband James of Trumbull; his adored grandchildren Daniel Mullins and his wife Jessica, and Robert and Nicholas Romano; and two cherished great grandchildren, James Robert “JR” Mullins and Aubrey Mullins. In addition to his wife Carmelina, Robert was predeceased by a son, Gary Romano.

The family would also like to thank the caring staff at Ludlowe Health and Rehab in Fairfield for their exceptional care of Robert during his time spent there. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, January 23 from 4-7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
