Obituary for Robertina Campbell Robertina M. Campbell born and brought up in Port Washington, Long Island, New York. She lived in New York City before coming to Bloomfield in 1969 to be Reference Librarian at Bloomfield College Library. In 1973 she became head of reference at Bloomfield Public Library from which she retired in 1988.

She was a graduate of Barnard College and had an M.A. from Columbia University and M.L.S. from Pratt Institute. She was a member and Deacon of Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green. Her volunteer activities included being past President of the Historical Society of Bloomfield, past President of the former Bloomfield-Glen Ridge branch of the American Association of University Women, a Docent at the Crane House of the Montclair Historical Society, and a friendly visitor from Clara Maas Hospital.

She was also a member of the Victorian Society of Northern New Jersey and the Glen Ridge Women’s Club. She has no local survivors, but has cousins in Scotland. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Robertina Campbell please visit our Sympathy Store.
