Obituary for Robie Buryl Beavers Robie Buryl Beavers, 91, of Springfield, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Robie was a Sergeant with the US Army during WWII and was retired from the DT&I/Grand Trunk railroad. He is preceded in death by his parents Rose and Odney T. Beavers; brothers, William and Paul (Sonny) and his special Aunt Kate and Uncle Winfield Woods.

Surviving is his wife of 68 years; Patricia, daughter; Penny (Don) Rorapaugh, son; Jeffrey Beavers, grandchildren; Cara (Derek) Rorapaugh and Troy (Liz) Rorapaugh, great-granddaughter; Olivia Rorapaugh, siblings; Naomi Beekman, Janet Monroe, Thelma (Ed) Johnson, Vicky Raines, Brenda Williams, Ricky Grooms and Ferman Beavers, and many nieces and nephews. Robie was a member of the Masons, American Legion, VFW and the FOE. He was a self-made man; always loving, loyal and honest with his family and friends.

He enjoyed country music, westerns, nature and most of all golfing. A celebration of Life will be held at later date. Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell handled arrangements.
