Obituary for Beverly C. Spidell Beverly C. Spidell 91, passed away October 26, 2018 at Chimes Terrace in Johnstown, Ohio. Born in Elyria, Ohio on February 27, 1927 to the late Arthur E. Crum and Louise C. (Baker) Crum. After moving to Amherst, Ohio with her family at 15, she graduated in 1944 from Amherst High School.

She married her beloved husband and high school sweetheart, Wayne in 1945. She lived in Amherst until moving to Upper Arlington, Ohio in 1968 and later to Dublin, Ohio in 1987. She excelled in sewing, cooking, cake decorating, oil painting and enjoyed traveling, hosting parties and family gatherings, golf, bridge and gardening.

She was employed by Buckeye Federal, Franklin Bank, State Savings and National City. Upon retiring from banking in 1991 she continued her employment at David Baker Jewelers and One to One at Giant Eagle. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne K. Spidell.

Survived by children Cynthia (Geoffrey) Curtis, Susan (Chet) Sharp, Craig (Barbara) Spidell; granddaughters, Michelle (Don) Jones, Lt. Col Andrea Morrison, Tiffany Spidell; great grandchildren, Brandon, Emily and Addison Jones. Our very sincere thanks to everyone at Chimes Terrace, Hospice of Central Ohio and Central Ohio Area on Aging for their outstanding care and compassion.

Friends may gather on November 9, from 5-7p.m. with a prayer service starting at 6:45 at O.R. Woodyard Co. Northwest Chapel, 2990 Bethel Rd. in Columbus. Chaplin Dennis Barnhart officiating.
