John Burchett, age 57, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Retired Dominion Homes after 20 years of employment; member Mountain Assembly Church; John had a wonderful sense of humor, he was an avid fisherman and Nascar fan; he was very generous and loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.

Preceded in death by parents: David and Edith Burchett; sisters, Ellen Gomer, Jeanette Jaworowski, Opal Greenwood and Thelma Burchett; brothers: Jim, Bill, and Garnal Burchett. Survived by wife of 25 years Lisa Burchett; daughters: Sara Burchett, Alesha (Josh) Hoffman, Jessica (Greg) Giddens, and Joselin Powell; grandchildren: Jasper, Noah, Jayonna, Breonna, Ellieonna, Lexi, and Hali; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home 2693 W. Broad St. Sunday 2-5 PM where service will be held 1:00 PM Monday.
