Obituary for Rogelio Aguilar McAllen, Texas Rogelio Aguilar ,76, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the McAllen Heart Hospital. Rogelio was born on April 8, 1942 in Mexico to Angel and Matiana (Salazar) Aguilar. Rogelio was a long time resident of McAllen.
He was a member of San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen for many years. Rogelio enjoyed fishing and being around his family. Rogelio loved to sing and he loved horses.
Rogelio was a strong family man that always provided. Rogelio Aguilar lived life to the fullest. Rogelio was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife- Maria De Jesus Aguilar; His loving daughters-Maria de Jesus Soto, Irene Elizabeth Aguilar, Dora Elia (Cesar Eloy) De Anda; Siblings- Josue Aguilar, Minerva Barrera, Eloy Aguilar, Bernanrdo Aguilar, Irma Ramos, Lupita Aguilar, Juanaidalia De LA Cruz; His adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren- Samantha, Alyssa, Natasha, Beyonce, Kelsha, Tarahlynne, Avery, Dylan, Aiden, and Talyn. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday October 12, 2018 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan in McAllen from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen.
