Roger’s Obituary Roger Dale Wheeler was born October 23, 1954 to Samuel Kendrick and Mamie Helen (Messer) Tyler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He departed this life February 9, 2019 at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 17 days. After graduating from High School Roger enlisted into the Oklahoma National Guard and served until he received a medical discharge.

On May 11, 1976 Roger Dale Wheeler and Deborah Burger were united in marriage. He worked at the Midwest City Hospital for 28 years. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan.

He enjoyed coin collecting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Wheeler of the Newalla home; daughter, Sally Mohawk and husband Curt of Newalla; one brother, David Tarrant of Bristow; three sisters, Sammie Polm of Bristow, Wilma Bozworth and husband Jim of Drumright, Mayme Bozworth and husband Wayne of Bristow; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betty Sommers and paternal grandparents, Samuel and Bonnie Wheeler.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel.
