Tex’s Obituary Tex Case was born October 7, 1938 to Lemuel Lewis and Anna Mae Case in Paden, Oklahoma. He departed this life May 15, 2019 at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 8 days. Tex was raised in the Paden area graduating from Paden High School in 1957.

On December 10, 1960 Tex Case and Caroline June Daniels were united in marriage. From this union were born two daughters, Tracey and Amber. He worked as a machinist for Superior Hardsurfacing over 40 years.

After retiring he went into business for himself, “Tex Services, Inc., where he would supervise turn around jobs in various refineries. He was a lifetime member of the Future Farmers of America as well Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma. He enjoyed training horses especially his horse named “Patches”.

He and Patches traveled around entertaining elementary schools and nursing homes. He is survived by his wife Caroline Case of the Bristow home; two daughters, Tracey Melcher of Tulsa and Amber Brummal and husband Jason of Aurora, Texas; one brother, Max Case and wife Edna of Paden, Oklahoma; three sisters, Joan Broyles of Paden, Oklahoma, Peggy Wilson and husband Harlan of Prague, Oklahoma, Sue Hines and husband, Tommie of Paden; Grandchildren, Angie Melcher, Nick Melcher, Anna Brummal and Emma Brummal; Great grandchildren, Sabrey Gordon, Skyler Melcher, Bethany Willis and Maja Melcher; one Great great grandson, Anthony McElyea. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe D. Case and LT Case; three sisters, Virginia Broyles, Toyie Adams and Mary “Red” Barlow; one grandson, Randy Jon Melcher.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Faith Baptist Church in Slick, Oklahoma with Pastor Steve Lamberson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden, Oklahoma. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 16th.
