Whitlock, 56, died January 26, 2019 at his home in McPherson. He was born May 4, 1962 in Hutchinson, the son of Richard Whitlock and Carol Willems Jantz. He was a graduate of Inman High School.

He had worked in the cell phone business and loved to follow NASCAR. He is survived by his parents, Carol and Galen Jantz, Inman and Richard Whitlock, Hutchinson; 2 step sisters, Tawny (Yale) Hoffman and Misty Jantz, both of McPherson; a special aunt and uncle, Lewis and Ruth Neufeldt, Inman; a special cousin, Sonya Harshburger, Hutchinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins ,and other family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Buhler Mortuary.

Interment will follow at North Inman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
