Roger J. Bill, 84, of Salida died on February 3, 2019 at Columbine Manor Care Center. He was born January 7, 1935 in Canandaigua, New York. Roger was a hairstylist and shop owner in New York, Poncha Springs, and Salida for 60 years.

After retiring, Roger spent his time designing and building bamboo fishing rods which he sold on his website through E-Bay and locally as “Roger’s Rod Designs”. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Kay Bill, one sister, and two step-daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Giorno and Kristine (Charlie) Novinskie.

Services will be on Monday, February 11th,,2019 at 2:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church in Salida. Donations may be made to the Ark-Valley Humane Society through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. Arrangements were with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
