Roger’s Obituary Roger Sizemore, 65, of Knob Noster, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Roger was born on February 22, 1954 in Chattanooga, TN, to Roy Lee and Betty Jo (East) Sizemore. His father was stationed in the military, so Roger and his family moved often.

He ultimately graduated from high school in Ramstein, Germany. Roger enlisted in the United States Air Force and served two years near Whiteman AFB. Upon honorable discharge, he worked in construction for Knob Noster and the surrounding areas for many years.

He enjoyed fishing, watching TV, and cheering for the Chiefs and Royals, all with a Budweiser nearby. He was outgoing and told it like it was, but loved his family and friends. Roger is survived by his significant other, Naomi Ray; daughter Cassandra Latshaw; and two grandsons, Zachary Dotson and Lane Helmig, all of Knob Noster; two sisters, Sherry Tate and Lisa Szychowski, both of Georgia; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by Cassandra’s mother, Judith Sizemore; and his parents, Roy Lee and Betty Jo Sizemore. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m., at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home with Brother Charles Brant officiating. Inurnment will follow the service in Knob Noster Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
