Funeral for Roger Smith, 77, of Somerville will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM, Josh Grubbs with officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, who died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born January 24, 1942, to Elmer L. Smith and Lou Ella Smith. He was a member of Somerville Baptist Church and member of Pipefitters Union 760. He was preceded in death by his parents son – Lynn Smith 2 brothers – Sam Smith and Matthew Smith sister – Christine Reeves Survivors include: Daughter – Melissa Jamison 2 brothers – Clyde Smith and Freeman Smith 3 sisters – Marvaleen Reeves, Jewel Coggin and Lorene Treadway 3 grandchildren – Katie Kittrell, Alex Woodham and Tori Smith Great Grand Child – Wyatt Woodham Pallbearers will be family and friends.
