Roland Gene George September 06, 1943 – May 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Roland was born in Tulare, CA to Ira George and Joyce (Poole). He retired from “Lawns by George”. Most recently he worked at Wal-Mart.

However, Roland’s favorite job was speaking about Jesus. He made 11 mission trips to Guyana, South Africa. Roland was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don George; sister, Nellie Ondeak.

He is survived by his wife Pauletta (Polly) George; sons, Christ George of Norman, OK and Rick George of Tampa, FL; daughters, Sherry and Jennifer from a previous marriage; 6 grandchildren, Elissa George, Amber George, Noelia George, Ricky George, CJ George and Trinity George; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate his life will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Northwest Church of Christ.
