Roland Hoyt Isom, age 67, died surrounded by his family at his home outside Guthrie Center, IA on Monday, March 5, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Roland was born on March 27, 1950 to Clinton Floyd Isom and Lillian Jones Isom in Cedar City, UT. He was the 3rd of 7 children; Floyd and Pamela being older, and Howard, Barbara, Virginia, and Camilla being younger.

Roland grew up in humble circumstances on a farm in Hurricane, UT where he learned to work hard, and love the land.
