Obituary for RON FUGATE FUGATE, Ron, age 73, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at home after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born April 15, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Burton and Margaret (Hoschar) Fugate. For 51 years Ron was a proud member of Local 510 and 392, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union of Middletown and Cincinnati, Ohio.

His true passion was antiquing with his wife Bridget, the love of his life. He loved the thrill of the hunt for antiques, and his knowledge of them has been passed along to many people throughout the years. He was a fierce competitor at auctions and both feared and admired by fellow antique dealers.

Ron was a devoted fan of Nascar, the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jimmy” Fugate. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bridget; son, Mark (Michelle) Fugate; daughter, Bridget (Tom) Johnson; granddaughters, Calli, Sofey and Olivia Fugate; sister, Sharon Fugate; brother, William “Bill” (Denise) Fugate; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Ron on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lovely’s Chapel in Springboro Cemetery, 2348 W. Lower Springboro Road, Springboro, Ohio 45066.
