Ronald G. Davis, (74) of Arlington, TX, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Arlington. Visitation will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Highland Church of Christ; 1201 Sycamore School Rd. Fort Worth, TX with the funeral service immediately following at 2pm.

Graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Sweetwater Cemetery in Sweetwater, TX with the Dyess Air Force Base Honor Guard. Ronald was born August 11, 1943, in Sweetwater, to Morris and Pauline (Hamilton) Davis, long-time residents of Sweetwater. He was raised in Sweetwater until the family moved to Arlington, TX in 1955.

Ronald was proud to serve as an Air Policeman for the US Air Force, as a police officer for the Arlington Police Department, and as a preacher for the churches of Christ. He was the proudest of serving his family as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Pauline Davis, and sister, Anita Poley.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jan of Arlington, TX; sons, Brian Davis and wife Jenny of Burleson, TX, and Lance Davis and wife Lisa of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Amanda West and husband Michael of Dallas, TX, and Tiffany Mosley and husband Matt of Ennis, TX; and six granddaughters. Funeral arrangements by Wade Funeral Home, Arlington, TX, and graveside arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home, Sweetwater, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Ron’s behalf to Brown Trail School of Preaching; 1801 Brown Trail.
