Obituary for Ronald James Kettwig Ronald James Kettwig, 79 of Fort Myers, FL passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Cypress Cove. Formerly of Minnetonka, MN he moved to Bonita Springs, FL in 2002 and relocated to Fort Myers in 2012. Ron was born November 12, 1938 in St. Paul, MN the son of the late Otto and Helen (nee Williams) Kettwig.

Mr. Kettwig was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the White House under President Dwight Eisenhower. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with his bachelor’s degree before earning his MBA at the University of Chicago. His career started with Sunbeam Products, he worked for Proctor Silex and retired from Spearhead Industries in 1995.

Ron was a member of the VFW and the Bonita Springs Moose Club #1454. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marvlyn “Lynn” Kettwig.

Survivors include his loving daughters, Amy (Bruce) Jeffrey of Stony Brook, NY, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Kettwig-Hurst of Bonita Springs, FL and cherished grandchildren, Rhiannon, Eowyn and Brendan Jeffrey. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail So. , Bonita Springs, FL 34134.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to the Bonita Bay Veterans Council, 26660 Country Club Dr., Bonita Springs, FL 34134.
