Ronald’s Obituary Ronald passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 74 years. He was born in Bay City on March 2, 1944 to the late William and Mary Van Mullekom. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Ronald was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church. He married the former Johanna Kolm in Bay City on June 10, 1967.

Ronald was employed by Consumers Energy for 29 years and retired in 2005. In his spare time he enjoyed trap shooting, bowling and doing wood crafts. Ronald is survived by his wife, Johanna; son, Ronald Van Mullekom; grandchildren, Conner and Callie Van Mullekom; brothers, William, Robert (Charlene) and Kenneth (Kathy) Van Mullekom, John (Jean), Richard (Beth) and Joseph Loree; many nieces and nephews.

At the request of Ronald cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe.

Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
