Thoma, 62 of Washington, died Friday, January 18, 2019 in his home. Born October 24, 1956 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Ronald Sr. and Dona M. (Bair) Thoma. Ron had been working as a driver at Advanced Auto in Washington, he enjoyed NASCAR racing and over the years taking part in a few demolition derby’s.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph M. Thoma and James M. Thoma, a daughter Nicole L. Thoma, a brother Robert and wife Marilyn Thoma of Saskatoon, Canada; two sisters Deborah and husband Dan Helbig of New Eagle and Christina Thoma of Pittsburgh and a grandson Logan Z. Thoma. At the family’s request services will be private. The Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of arrangements.
