Ronald Walker, age 64 of Cerro Gordo passed suddenly on Sunday November 4, 2018 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He was the son of the late Jessie Blackwell Walker and Carr Walker.

He was also preceded in death by four siblings, William Lee Walker, Minnie Pearl Walker, Peggy Faye Walker and Richard Walker and a grandson, Eric Scot Walker, Jr He is survived by his wife, Melinda Strickland Walker of the home; three children, Amanda Walker of Cerro Gordo, Kimberly Walker and Eric Walker both of the home; four siblings, Judy Boswell of Cerro Gordo, Christine Floyd of Cerro Gordo, Annie Lou Coleman of Tabor City and his twin brother, Donald Walker of Cerro Gordo; two grandchildren, Gage Walker and MaKaylyn Blackwell.
