Rosa “Rose” Nunziato, 95, of Morganville, NJ passed away Tuesday, January 29th, at Care One at Wall. She was the widow of Andrew Nunziato. Rosa was born in San Genaro, Italy on August 16, 1923.

Upon moving to the United States she lived in Matawan for many years before moving to Morganville. Rosa loved cooking, sewing and canning of all types including sauce and vegetables with her family. Rosa is survived by her loving son,John Nunziato, of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ; her brother, Antonio Catapano, of Rome, Italy.

She is also survived by her cherished Grandchildren: Viki Kostas, Roseanna Panagakos, Katie-Rose Nunziato, Joseph Brizzolara and great grandchildren Peter and Nicholas Kostas She is predeceased by her husband Andrew and daughter Annmarie Panagakos A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, February 1st at St.Joseph’s RCC in Keyport, NJ . Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, NJ.
