Obituary for Rose Marie Green Rose Marie Green 65 of Hewett, WV went to be with the Lord September 20, 2018 after a long illness. She was born October 29, 1952 in Madison to the late Virgil and Francis Ellis of Hewett. She is survived by a daughter; Amy Marie (Dustin) Mayse of Hewett, a son; Robert Lee (Lisa) Green of Madison, brothers; Randy (Patti) Ellis of Whitesville, and Ronald Ellis Hewett, sister; Lecia Ellis ( Roger Colhns) of Hewett, grandchildren; Rachel Shaner, Nathan Shaner, Sarah Mayse and Cameron Green, many vieces, nephew, cousins, aunt, uncle and a host of friends.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Roy Ellis of Hewett, Donald (Barbara Ellis) of Hewett, Carl “Heffer” Ellis of Hewett, sister; Sherrie (Roy,Jr. ) Prince of Quinland. Rose retired in 2017 from Long John Silvers, where she worked for 17 years.

She enjoyed Bingo, camping and spending time with family. She is a member of the Spencer Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV with Rev.

Roger McCauley officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
