Obituary for Rose Marie Soulier (Marcil) COHOES Rose Marie Soulier, 88, of Columbia St. and formerly of Liverpool and Waterford, died Monday December 10, 2018 at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy. Born and educated in Cohoes she was the daughter of the late Omer F. and Marie A. Chouinard Marcil. In her earlier years Rose was employed at the NYS Department of State and Department of Agriculture and Marketing in Albany.

While a resident of Liverpool, NY she was a communicant of Christ the King Church there. She was a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Leo J. Soulier, her children, Susan M. Coreno of Waterford, Daniel L. Soulier of Cicero, Marie J. Hill (Michael) of Florida and Joseph M. Soulier (Lori) of Commack.

She is the sister of Catherine Favereau and Elizabeth Turpin of Clifton Park, Jeanne Messier Vanderhoff of Albany, the late Bernadette Turpin, Theresa Lavigne and Anna Mae Lavigne. 7 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday at 9 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad St., Waterford.

Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
