Popp, Rose (Risko), 91, of Laurel View Village, Davidsville, died July 19, 2018. She was born June 25, 1927, in Newton Falls, Ohio. Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Frank Popp, and also by her parents Nicholas and Helen (Levko) Risko; brothers John, Nick, and Michael; sisters Mary, Helen, Anne and Margaret; and by her great-grandson Easton Van Egdom.

She is survived by daughters Ruth Ann Blenden (Elton) and Marsha Jean Carr (Jim); grandchildren Courtney (Blenden) Getty(Earl); Stacy (Blenden) Van Egdom(Jared); James Carr III; Angela (Carr) Yoder (Joel); and Franklin Carr (Kelly); great-grand children Bella and Evan Getty, Enoch and Chase Van Egdom, Nicolas and Christopher Yoder, Brooklyn and Piper Carr. She was also survived by her sister Pauline Tate of Toledo, Ohio and sister-in-law, Thelma Popp of Vinco and many nieces and nephews. Rose is a graduate of Newton Falls High School Class of 1945.

Rose’s first priority was taking care of her family whom she loved deeply. We want to thank her caregivers at Laurel View who became like family these past few years. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.
