3, 1947 to Leroy H. & Alice Mueller Henrichs in Moulton. He married Kay Schilhab on May 27, 1972 in Moulton. He was honorable discharge for his service in the US Army on 1 June 1974.

Roy had many titles throughout his life. Son, brother, serviceman, husband, dad and popo to name a few, but it’s the titles we all knew him by that perfectly describe his life. Maybe the most important title would be a teacher.

Roy had experience with anything you could think of and would willingly teach anyone interested in learning. From his daughters to friends to his grandkids, each one of us can recall at least once Roy was responsible for teaching us a lesson. Another title would be a farmer, as everyone knew.

He had a bountiful garden each year and constantly enlisted anyone willing to help reap the rewards once the produce was ready. You could say he was a pecan farmer too. He enjoyed picking pecans and always had a daughter or grandkid with a bucket or sack following him in the yard.

He also raised cattle which he had love hate relationship with. Roy was good with his hands; he was a welder, carpenter and even a mechanic. He spent the majority of his time outdoors and there wasn’t anything he didn’t have knowledge of.

Roy loved deer season and fishing with his friends which he had lots of stories to share. Roy was strong, rugged, and tough as nails, but his heart was as soft as warm butter. He loved differently.

He loved through his lessons, through his directions, and he loved through being hard on you. He loved his mon, his sister, his wife, his daughters deeply and his grandkids held a special place in his heart just as special as the place he holds in ours. Roy is survived by: his wife Kay; his mother Alice; 4 daughters, Sandy Beyer, Amy Foster & husband Lonnie, Brenda Henrichs and Courtney Henrichs; sister Patsy Klekar; 8 grandchildren, Dylan Beyer, Brailyn Gaitan, Jase Gaitan, Dalton Guevara, Kadence McCloud, Addyson Williams, Chloe Williams and Kerrigan Barrera; and 2 great grandchildren, Kauner and Laila Jalufka.

Roy was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will start at 4 pm, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at Kubena Funeral Home.
