Obituary for Roy Robert “Slick” Hingson Roy Robert “Slick” Hingson, 76, of Labelle, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. A life-long Florida resident, he was born in Clewiston on March 19, 1942, the son of Elbert Bryant and Minnie Alma (née Ricks) Hingson. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving honorably in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving children, Jeffery Allen (Richelle) Hingson of Labelle, FL and Niki Adele (Dean) Blocker of Naples, FL; his brothers, Leslie Hingson of Southport, FL and Ray Hingson of Clewiston, FL; and his niece and nephews, Shane, David, Mark, Denise and Wade. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs. Military Honors rendered by an active duty U.S. Army detail will follow the service.
