Obituary for Gordon H. Rauch Gordon H. Rauch, 88, of Estero, FL, and a former 40 year resident of Scituate, MA, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born March 21, 1930 in Chester, PA, the only son of the late Gordon H. and Miriam (Blanchard) Rauch, Sr He had been a resident of Estero since 2012.

He was a graduate of Weymouth High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. After graduation, Gordon went to work for General Dynamics in Quincy, MA on the design of nuclear surface ships. He retired from General Dynamics in 1993.

He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, but his true passion was golf. Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Angela M. Rauch of Estero, FL; one son, Peter F. Rauch of San Francisco, CA; one daughter, Cheryl A. Casciola and her husband, Randall of Pittsburgh, PA; and his two sisters, Genevieve Grundy of Hendersonville, NC and Nancy Chalmers of Ridgecrest, CA. A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Ft.
