Obituary for Nancy Ruth Walker Nancy Ruth Walker, 86, of Estero, FL, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Formerly of Ft. McCoy, FL, she had been an Estero resident for the last 3 years.

She was born February 13, 1932 in Clermont, FL, the daughter of Henry J. and Mildred V. (née Crews) Williams. Mom grew up in Lake City, Fl. She lived in Ft McCoy, Fl for many years, where she was very active and committed to her church family.

She moved to Estero, Fl (Paradise as she called it) only a few years ago. She lived a wonderful life and influenced the lives of all around her. Her Strong Christian faith was always her compass.

In addition to her family, she leaves behind many treasured friends. Her friends were very important to her and she valued their friendship deeply. We would like to thank the entire staff at Gulf Coast Medical Center for their amazing care, kindness and compassion during her lengthy stay.

Our loss is deep but we are at peace knowing she is at peace. Mrs. Walker is survived by her loving children, Mary T. (Richard) Dixon of Ormond Beach, FL, Ronnie Lee McKenzie (Donald Hall) of New London, CT and Greg McKenzie of Estero, FL; and her brother, Gene (the late Barbara) Williams of Fernandina Beach, FL. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
