Obituary for Phyllis Lee Kirchdorfer Phyllis Lee Kirchdorfer 84, a resident of The Retreat in Naples, FL died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her residence after a valiant 2 years battle with cancer. Phyllis was born July 26, 1934 in St. Louis, MO a daughter of the late John and Ada Mae (Lee) Henry. She had been a resident of Naples since 1965 moving from Louisville, KY.

After moving to Naples, she and her husband moved to the east coast of Florida eventually moving back to Barefoot Beach in the late 70’s. They also maintained residences at Ridgeview Farm in Campbellsburg, Kentucky and then to Main Spring Farm in Shelbyville, KY. They also lived at various locations throughout Naples and Bonita Springs.

She was quite active in community theater groups, gardening clubs and bridge clubs. Phyllis also volunteered at the Humane Society training dogs so they could be adopted. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph C. “Skip” Kirchdorfer of Naples, FL; son, Caleb Scott Kirchdorfer and his wife, Janis of Lexington, KY; daughter, Linda Lee Kirchdorfer of Naples, FL; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Calvin Brett Kirchdorfer and her sister, Maralee Arledge. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Shannon Funeral Service 1124 Main St., Shelbyville, KY. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM at the Shelbyville Cemetery with her grandson-in-law, Rev.

Brandon Holbrook, officiating. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
