Obituary for Michael Patrick Marvin Michael P. Marvin, 71, of Estero, FL passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice. Formerly of Chardon, OH he had been a resident of Estero for the past 13 years. Michael was born September 1, 1946 in Battle Creek, MI a son of the late Elmer C. and Patricia A. (Murphy) Marvin.

He attended Michigan State University where he earned his Master of Business Administration Degree. Mr. Marvin had a 27 year career with Parker Hannifin in Cleveland, OH, retiring as Vice President of Marketing in 2006. Michael was an avid golfer and fan of Michigan State sports.

He also enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Susan L. (Swantek) Marvin; loving children, Melissa L. (Scott) Knisely of Painesville, OH and Eric M. (Jere) Marvin of Fort Myers, FL; and grandchildren, Jillian P. Knisely, Pandora W. Marvin and Landon M. Marvin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967.
