Ruby Z. Wright-Folven, born September 9, 1938 in Rainelle, WV, peacefully passed away at 3:04 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. She earned her Early Childhood Education Certification at Miami Jacobs and for a short time worked for Fairborn Schools. She worked for 10 years as a server at the Officers Club at WPAFB and 3 years for Stockslagers Nursery.

Ruby and her husband bought and worked the farm at the corner of County Line and Little Richmond Roads for over 40 years. She was an avid gardener and painter; a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandma and great grandma. Ruby is preceded in death by parents Elmer and Bertha Wright; husband Mason in 2000; daughter Susan in 1991; brothers Estil, Sterling and Merill Wright.

Survived by children Anita Pennington, Luther Carter and Kathy Carter-Hescott and husband Michael; grandson Joshua Runyon; granddaughter Megan Parker and husband Joshua; great granddaughter Jordyn Parker; adopted grandsons Jacob Booher and Jeffrey Casselman; along with many nieces and nephews. The family will hold private services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Dayton would be greatly appreciated.
