Perry, 57, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL.

Russell was born December 24, 1961, in Los Angeles, CA, son of Gene and Francis (Wilson) Perry. On July 25, 1987, in Moline, he married Lisa Kurtz, who survives. Russell was employed by J.C. Penney Company for 18 years, and also managed Wendy’s Restaurants.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing Pogo on his computer, and loved the White Sox, collecting much White Sox memorabilia. In addition to his wife, Lisa, survivors include a daughter, Sarah Perry and friend, Andrew Ackerson of Moline; sisters, Katherine Perry of Taylorsville, KY, Sandy Perry of Peoria, IL, and Brenda Drake of Rock Island, IL; and brother, Gene Perry. He was preceded in death by his parents.
