Waeyaert, 57, of Silvis, IL, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 8th, from 5 pm to 9 pm, at the Svithiod Club, 1522 – 6th Avenue in Moline.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a trust fund to be set up for her grandson. Pam was born August 28, 1961, in Evanston, IL, daughter of David A. and Jean A. (Carruthers) Glanz. She was a graduate of Moline High School.

She married Randy Waeyaert in 1983 and they were later divorced. She worked in hospitality in several establishments, including Greenbriar Pub, Benders, Holiday Inn, Arbor Village Clubhouse, and Isle of Capri Bettendorf. She was a member of First Christian Church in Moline, then Heritage Wesleyan Church in Rock Island, and then Christ United Methodist Church in East Moline.

She loved spending time with her grandson, Carter, many friends and family, and enjoyed traveling and attending music concerts. Survivors include her beloved daughters, Ashley G. Waeyaert of Moline, and Kathryn “Katy” A. Burkhead of Rock Island, IL; her parents, David and Jean Glanz of Moline; a grandson, Carter W. Womack; sisters, Deborah (Charles) Raney of Orlando, FL, Amy Barnett of Moline, and Kelli Whitelaw of Denver, CO; brothers, James (Carole) Glanz of Murfreesboro, TN, and Douglas (Jamie) Glanz of Arlington Heights, IL; and special caring friends, Dino Vlahakis and Donald Burkhead. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, two uncles, two aunts, and a brother, Karl Dean Glanz.

Pam’s family wish to acknowledge the staff and doctors at the Illinois Cancer Care Center, OSF St. Francis Oncology Unit, and Pastoral Care in Peoria, and thank them for their wonderful care and compassion.
