Russell Franklin Thompson November 22, 1921 – July 14, 2018 He was a World War II veteran having served in the US Army 346th Ordnance Depot Company, Ninth Army in Europe from 1942 to 1946. Russell was the eldest son of the late C. Arthur and Edna Mae (Fritter) Thompson of Vienna, Va. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Melvin Thompson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 23rd at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave. , Vienna, Va. , beginning at 10:00 AM where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
