He was born August 28, 1979 to the late Russell Lee and Shirley McGinnis Hodge Sr. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Laurie May. Russell is survived by his aunt and uncle who raised him; Emmett and Myrtle Withrow, 4 sons; Noah, Russell, James, and Leelynn, 2 daughters; Ava and Abbigail, 2 brothers; James Hodge and Leonard Hodge, 2 sisters; Angela Icie Jean Hodge and Ladonna Campos, and 2 special nieces; Paige and Fabiola.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.
