Paul B. Ward Sr., 73 Paul B. Ward Sr., 73 of West Portsmouth, died Friday June 1, 2018 at his home. He was born August 4, 1944 in Martin County, Kentucky to the late McKinley and Fannie DeLong Ward. He was a retired Boiler Operator for Dry Run School and attended Safe Haven Church.

Along with his parents Paul was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann Ward who he married on December 15, 1973, 2 brothers; Elmer and Homer Ward and a sister Goldie Cook. Paul is survived by 2 sons; Paul B. Ward Jr. of McAdenville, North Carolina and Brian Keith Ward of Zion, Illinois, a daughter, Melissa Ward of Beaver, 2 brothers; John Ward of West Portsmouth and James Ward of Dayton, a sister Ella Mae Ward of Indiana, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Kenny Carver officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
