Obituary for Russell Hilbert Russell W. Hilbert, 52, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 20, 2018. He was born to Ralph Richard and Wilma L. (Jacobs) Hilbert on December 18, 1965 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1983.

Russell is survived by his loving mother, Wilma Hilbert of Indianapolis; two brothers, Andrew (Debbie) Hilbert of Mooresville and Boyd Hilbert of Indianapolis; an uncle, Phillip (Nancy) Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father. Russell had been a clerk for Staybridge Inn & Suites for three years.

He was a member of Eagle Valley Church of Christ in Indianapolis. He was also a member of the NRA, loved working on engines and especially enjoyed rebuilding his 1970 Monte Carlo. He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, October 26th at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor John Skomp will officiate Russell’s celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Friday with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making monetary contributions to the family fund which will help with final expenses, c/o Andy Hilbert, 72 Echo Lake West Drive, Mooresville, IN 46158.
