SHIPLEY ST P O BOX 967 SEAFORD, DE 19973 302-629-9237 Ruth Ann Coulbourn 71 of Seaford, DE passed away peacefully on November 15, 2018 surrounded by her husband and sons at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Coulbourn was born on June 11, 1947 in Bridgeville, DE, daughter of the late Marshall and Hilda Conaway. She was survived by a sister, Fay Shufelt of Bridgeville, DE, and a brother, Ronald Conaway of Seaford, DE.

On January 31, 1964 she married the love of her life Donald E. Coulbourn and raised three sons, Charles E. Coulbourn of Seaford, DE, Richard W. Coulbourn of Laurel, DE, and Larry T. Coulbourn of Seaford, DE and a daughter Deanna Smith of Suffolk, VA. She had 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Ruth worked for the Woolworth Company in Seaford, DE for many years in Customer Service then she went to work at the Nylon Capital Package Store for over 20 years.

She was a lifelong farmer who loved gardening and working in her flower beds. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren baking cookies, brownies and keeping busy. Funeral Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
