Ruth Ann LaVern (Gelb) Stewart October 2, 1943 – May 23, 2019 Ruth Stewart, born October 2, 1943, passed from this life, May 23, 2019, at Christus St Michael’s, Atlanta TX. She was 74 years old and a resident of Atlanta TX. Ruth is preceded in death by her father David James Gelb.

She is survived by her mother Mary Ann (Houser) Gelb Engle; sons Don Eugene Stewart II of Atlanta TX, and Terry Scott Stewart and wife Shelia of Atlanta TX; brother Gary Gelb and wife Jan of Shawano WI; sisters Nancy Brouillard of Little Chute WI, and Mary Searle and husband Dick of Florence AZ; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Ruth enjoyed reading her bible and doing research. She was a precious soul who was very loving and nurturing.

She loved all animals but had a special place in her heart for small animals. She created a line of holistic products for animals, as well as for people. She ran the company for many years until she retired.

Upon retirement, Ruth sold her business and so it all lives on. Ruth will be cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. A memorial service to honor her life will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM at Queen City Funeral Home.
