Ruth M. Brammer, 81, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born February 28, 1937, in Hebron, Illinois, the daughter of Edwin and Maud (Cairns) Bell. Ruth was a hard worker with a strong will.

She enjoyed cross word puzzles and watching television. Ruth was also interested in anything to do with quilting and barns. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survived by her children, Lori (Jim Young) Wright, Karen (Doug) Ferris… Read More » and Michael Brammer, grandchildren, Jennifer Brammer, Nicole (Brian) McRickard and Reese Wright; great grandchildren, Sara, Liam, Patrick and Henry. Predeceased by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined at a later date.

Cremation rites accorded with Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108.
